Fall Lookbook Outfit 1

The inevitable and gloomy Autumn has finally arrived.  This look is perfect for the fall and depending on how cold it is you could always layer up with a gilet (you know I love them) or a coat. I am someone who really feels the cold so when it comes to Autumn/Winter I layer up and I don't mean just a coat and a jumper I mean excessive layering...something I am not looking forward to.
Luckily on this particular day it was not too cold.

I am a real fan of fringing whether it be on a top (like the one I am wearing) or a trimming on a bag, jacket etc. What do you think of fringing? Are you a fan? I hope you are all having a great week.

Nike Liberty sail sunlight floral wedge trainer love

I recently bought the Nike | Liberty wedge sneakers and I love them.  I already own the ash sneakers (you can see them in this post here) and I find their really comfortable, they also give me an extra bit of height and as i am not too tall I can appreciate the wedge heel.

I think the sneakers are really versatile and will brighten up my winter wardrobe. I think they would look great with a clash of patterns or with white jeans and a tee. Before buying them I had already thought of all the ways I could style them. For me it is important before I purchase something to know how I would wear it that way I know I will definitely get full use out of the item.

Let me know if you would like to see me style these sneakers in some other posts.

Scalloped Skirt Love

Hi all,

I love scalloped skirts and this is one of two that I own. I find the simple scallop trimming adds a different element to what would otherwise be a plain black skirt. What do you guys think?

The weather in London is getting colder which has aimed my thoughts towards Fall fashion and what staples I need to get me through what is set to be quite a cold winter.
Expect a Fall  must haves post to be up in the next few weeks.
Anywhooo I hope you are all having a great week and thank you for stopping by.

Floatey Romantic Dress Autumn Look

I love the fabric and the way this dress sits. I wish I owned more dresses in this style because they are so easy to wear, the style and cut is really flattering. For Fall i.e. Colder weather I would simply add a pair of tights and a coat.  What do you guys think?

So I haven't attended any shows this year but I have been keeping up to date with the collections. I thought I would share with you some of my favourite looks from various designers.

Sass and Bide S/S 12
I found this whole collection to be really wearable. I love the detailing on the pieces as well as the cut.
Very classic but still has that modern edge to the collection.
Full collection can be viewed on style.com here

Giles S/S12
I loved the variation of pieces in this collection. My favourite pieces were the lazor cut mini dresses as well as the printed horse detailing found in some of the pieces. Giles catwalk shows are always incredible and theatrical in my opinion and this show was no different. Despite having several favourites the one I wanted to share was the image below. I am a sucker for embellishment and as soon as I saw this image I started planning how I would style this dress ( one can dream right!?!)

Matthew Williamson S/S12
I love Matthew Williamson. This collection was perfect and was very much a representation
of what Matthew Williamson is famous for, embellishment. I love the bold
colours and the use of different fabrics.

Issa S/S12
The colour pallet of this collection was incredible, fuchsia pink, royal blue, orange! I also really liked the swan print featured on some of the dresses. This dress above was my favourite of the collection, I love the cut of this dress as well as the colour. For me, this dress is just incredible, so elegant.

Floral Pastel Colours ft my favourite shoes

Hi all,

In this look I am featuring one of my favourite pairs of heels. These shoes are really old, over 3 years! But I love them just as much as when I first purchased them. Do any of you have something you bought years ago but still love?
If not then I guess I am one of the few.

I do not really believe in stringent colour co ordination and as you can see in this look the colours do not match but I somehow think it works, what do you think?

Military Camouflage Kharki jacket because it is getting cold

Hi guys,

I bought my military jacket about 8 months ago from a random store in Brick Lane and yes it is vintage. It wouldn't be a true vintage piece if it didn't come with that stuffy odd smell but thankfully I was able to stick it in the wash and strip the stench from the jacket.

Military jackets are flooding the high street and personally I'm a real fan of them, what do you guys think? Yay or nay? Regardless I am sure I will wear this to death, excuse the expression.  The weather in the UK is now, what I would describe as, cold so I have thick jumpers and coats on my shopping list.  This jacket is the perfect transitional piece for Autumn and Winter. It is great teamed with jumpers and cardigans for when the weather
gets even colder and it is a real statement piece.
