The Date Series:The Peplum Duo

A friend and myself were having a chat the other day and we found that we both agreed that dressing for a date was challenging. You find yourself in a situation were you do not want to seem like you are trying to hard, you don't want to look like you spent the last 10 hours preparing for the date, but then you do not want to look as though you have made no effort. Also, you want to dress appropriately for were you are set to be going. With all this in mind we decided that it would be fun to do a few posts together featuring outfit ideas for specific dates, so 'The date Series' was created.

I still found it challenging to decide on certain looks for a date however it helped to bare in mind the kind of location that the look would be aimed at.
This first look we both decided would be great for a nice dinner/ drinks.
Do you ever find dressing for a date a challenge or is it just us?
Let me know what your tips are for preparing for an evening out.

  1. Beautiful pictures and the date series is such a great idea Maris! I love both outfits and your hair looks particularly beautiful here! I would love to know what products you use as my hair is naturally wavy/curly too, and yours always looks amazing! xxx

    1. Thank you Claudia. Tbh I don't put any product in my hair except for Moroccan oil which I put onto my damp hair and I just let my hair dry naturally. I know you use a hair oil..do you prefer the one you use to moroccan oil? x

  2. gorgeous ladies you both look ace!
