Mini Makeup Haul

So I recently popped into Boots pharmacy and picked up a few makeup items.
I really wanted to try the new Revlon Photo Ready Cream blush but I ended up buying a few extra bits... oooops!

Revlon Photoready Cream Blush in Coral Reef.

The packaging of this product is simple and sleek. The only thing that is slightly annoying is that the sticker isn't placed in the middle ( being really picky) But aside from the appearance, the product itself is really great. It has a creamy light feel to it and although it is a cream blush I would describe it as a cream to powder finish. I would say the formulation is really comparable to the Topshop cream blushes. So do I think they are worth the hype? Yes, I do. They apply really nicely to the cheeks and they tend to last quit long.  In the UK Revlon have released 3 shades, Coral Reef, Pinched and  Flushed.
Coral Reef is a really light coral colour which is perfect for adding a natural flush to your cheeks.
I like to apply the blush with a foundation brush as I find it easier to work with cream blushers with the foundation brush.

The Photoready cream blushes are available in Boots, Superdrug as well as through Revlons website and retail at £7.99, although there is an offer on Revlon at the moment were you can purchase the blushes for £5.99.

Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Fuschia

This lipstick is really light weight, creamy and pigmented.
This deep pink is really easy to apply and has a creamy feel to it.
This is a great product and this is my third colorburst lipstick and a formulation I definitely recommend.

Soap and Glory Carbon Black Extreme Eyeliner Pen

This liquid eyeliner is really pigmented and the spongey applicator makes it really easy to work with. This is the first time I have tried this product and I have already fallen in love with it.

When I first used this product I found this pen style eyeliner really easy to use and the black was very intense and vivid not creamy and washy like some black eyeliners. It is also really easy to remove but it doesn't seem to wear of during the day.

This product retails at £6 which to be honest is quit reasonable for a really pigmented liquid eyeliner. So if your looking for a true black, pigmented, easy to work with liquid eyeliner... then look no further.

Have you tried any of these products and what do you think of them?
